Scenes from A Few Long Walks Around Washington, D.C.
I have been slow to write up new work recently. I hope to have more photos and writing to share with you soon. In the meantime, here are some images made with my old workhorse K1000 and a few random rolls of 135 film (HP5 Plus for black and white, decades-expired Sensia 200 for color) during two trips to Washington, D.C. last year.
These scenes are largely situated downtown and in rapidly changing Northwest D.C. neighborhoods like Shaw, Petworth, and Brightwood. A handful are in other parts of the city.
